About the Founder

Bryce M. Hardin, Esq.
Founder

Bryce provides big firm experience, intelligent legal strategies, and common-sense initiatives to his areas of practice. Bryce was admitted to practice law in October of 2013 and was immediately hired as an associate attorney with the firm Tarpy, Cox, Fleishman, & Leveille. In 2017 he started Bear Litigation, PLLC to devote his practice as a trial lawyer. Bryce is a seasoned courtroom attorney and has handled a wide range of cases from the General Sessions Court (small claims court) all the way to the State Appellate and U.S. Federal Courts of Tennessee. While his practice areas are extensive, Bryce’s focus is on construction and business law. Contractors in Tennessee are governed by Title 66 of Tennessee’s code, the Consumer Protection Act and the Rules and Regulations of the State of Tennessee ("Tenn. R. & Regs.") all of which Bryce has extensive experience in litigating.

Bryce was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee where he grew up playing sports, enjoying the outdoors and passionately cheering for the Vols. Bryce was nicknamed "Bear Bryce" by a college friend because of his love of the outdoors and cranky disposition. While receiving his BA in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Bryce served as a strength and conditioning coach for UT Football and Baseball and was head of strength and conditioning at the Christian Academy of Knoxville. Thereafter, Bryce earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Lincoln Memorial University School of Law.

Bryce is licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee and U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Knoxville Bar Association, serves on the advisory board for Street Hope TN and the Board of Trustees for Christian Academy of Knoxville.

The day after taking the bar exam, Bryce met his wife-to-be. They both enjoy the outdoors, yelling at the Vols and wrangling their rambunctious boys, Bear and Nico.
